Part 3 of Our Series on Lingerie for the Rest of Us
After our last post, which explains why lingerie makes us crazy, we thoughts we’d try the opposite perspective, and that is why we love it…
1. It makes us feel sexy. (Anyone know why? It’s amazing that some undergarments can be so transformative.)
2. Just putting it on, thinking about it, can get us in the mood. It can be foreplay for a woman, the preparation of herself for something special later on. It is a personal ritual in that way.
3. It is thus our own secret weapon. To drive our man crazy…. To flirt with him. To make him think of us. And only us. I would definitely say that it is one of those things we keep hidden in our female bag of tricks.
4. As a friend of mine told me, “Sometimes you wear clothes to look good on the outside. Sometimes I wear something nice underneath just to feel a little more pretty. And then I walk with a little more confidence in my step.”
5. It is our own secret… what we put on that the rest of the world can’t see. It’s almost like saying “world, you may know me on the outside, but there are some things about myself that I choose to keep to myself.” It’s our private attitude.
6. It makes us feel more confident, knowing what we have on underneath…

Lingerie is the feel of something soft on your skin, of support, of anticipation, of being a woman. True lingerie (even a nice bra and undies) say, “I am WOMAN. Hear me roar.” It brings out the best in us, it celebrates us, it is our gift to ourselves and ultimately, to our others. It is that extra special step we take to treat ourselves to something sensual.

We love lingerie because lingerie is womanhood made tangible. No matter what you have to wear on top, you can always express yourself underneath.
Lingerie is that touch of femininity, we adore. It’s like that sundress you bought frivolously but wearing it makes you feel fabulous and flirtatious.
Of course, it helps when you get positive and reinforcing reactions from the man as well. It is nice to be seen as the glorious woman you are reflected in their eyes.
