Something New to Discover…
Introducing the Anonymous8 weekend assignments. Every month, we will suggest something fun to do with your other or your friends.
This weekend? Spend some time getting to know your other… again. Here are some questions to ask each other.
If there were a movie made of our lives, which actors would play us?
If we could have dinner with any six people in the world, who would be on the guest list?
Do you have a secret dream of something you could do for each other?
What’s your favorite joke? (Always have to insert some humor…)
You may also want to play this revised version of 20 questions.
Then listen and think about what each other says. Not only will you learn about each other, but you’ll learn about yourself as well… Let us know what you learn… and if it leads to any spicy talk… or more.

We did the first few questions and I was pleasantly surprised to find out my husband’s complimentary interpretation of our “movie selves”…he would be played by Tom Selleck (not that he said he looks like him except for the height, but he said Tom Selleck had his “sensibilities”) and he chose Sela Ward for me, which he said was actually because she looks like me. I laughed, only because I didn’t expect such a nice answer! The dinner question was interesting. As much as I thought I’d be hosting a table full of bimbos, I was shocked by some really good choices. And, actually, the only woman at the table was a choice by me (Ivanka Trump)! Appreciating me as the high roller I long to be, he wanted to send me on a great trip to Vegas and he was happy with my choice of sending him on a fighter jet ride. We have different humors, which is no surprise, but it was still good conversation for a laugh. When we have a bit more time, I’m going to pull out the longer quiz. Laughing and chatting go by the wayside in the midst of day to day stresses and busy-ness of life. It was a nice way to re-connect with someone I have a very long history with. All that from four questions! Who would have thought?
Amanda,
I think these are great results. Interesting. I added the 20 questions because I was afraid 4 wasn’t enough. You proved me wrong, which I appreciate.
