One of the best things that my husband can say to me is a non-verbal message. It’s his unconditional love for me, despite my faults. He never says the words, “I love you just as you are,” he just shows it in his actions, friendship and love in the face of my foolishness.
One of the best gifts my husband gave me was my first iPod a couple of years ago for Valentine’s Day. In our situation, it was an extravagant gift, much more costly than any other Valentine’s Day gift he’d ever given me. (We both agreed that this would also count for Birthday, Anniversary, Mother’s Day, Christmas, etc…) I’ve enjoyed this gift every day, using it for entertainment and practical applications as well.
Another wonderful Valentine’s gift that my husband gave me was a weekend away. ALL BY MYSELF!! He booked a hotel room for me, dropped me off Friday afternoon and didn’t come back until Sunday afternoon. He took care of our two young boys and it gave me a HUGE break. I ate healthily, exercised in my hotel room & on the beach, relaxed and came back five pounds lighter! It was very rejuvenating and greatly appreciated.
The best thing my husband could ever say to me is “I love you”, because it is all-encompassing. The best thing he has ever given me is our children who complete our lives.
The best gift my husband ever gave to me is my cat. I had not been able to get a cat since I was a very young child, and he got me the most beautiful, intelligent cat in the world (IMO of course)
The best thing my hubby could ever say to me is “Honey, we will always stay just as happy and optimistic as we are now.”; as for the best gift, it is simply flowers, more precisely tulips.
The best thing my husband could say to me is “I love our life.” Because I look at the single man I met and married and wonder what the married man is thinking now with our house full of kids, cats, and dogs. He went from a quiet, calm life and ended up in this sea of noise and calamity!
The best thing my husband has ever given me is the gift of children. Our children are adopted and just having him agree to that means so much to me. If he hadn’t been on board for adopting and raising these kids, I wouldn’t be a mom!
Not only do I never intend on leaving you, I don’t WANT to ever leave you. I married you because I wanted to be with YOU and only YOU.

The best gift that my husband gives me is when he looks at me with lust. Still. Even when I look like s**t. I am always amazed when women complain that their husbands want sex all the time. I’m grateful!

best thing my husband could say to me is “You are as pretty today as you were 40 years ago” because love is blind
The best thing my husband said to me: “I want to marry you”. That was almost 40 years ago.
What is the best thing your husband or wife could say to you and why? My wife would say the best thing I could say to her is “Honey, I’ve cleaned the bathroom.” She thinks me doing housework is sexy.
I appreciate it when my wife tells me she likes our life – with all it’s craziness (2 young boys and another on the way), and uncertanity (I work in automotive) to hear her say that makes me feel that I’m taking good care of my family
The best “gift” my wife gives me is time to run. I run 1/2 marathons and need to spend a considerable time running and attending events. My wife has never waivered in her support though she has taken care of EVERYTHING while I train, stood outside in freezing weather while watching me run in events and helped me cope with all my aches and pains. Thanks, hon
“I am going to therapy”. This is the best thing because he really needs it.
That he is happy he married me.
The best thing my husband ever gave me would be a trip to Hawaii for our honeymoon that he announced to me and all our guests on our wedding day at our reception. I didn’t expect a honeymoon at all let alone to Maui. I cried and everyone clapped!!

It would be great if told me he was going out to mow the lawn (LOL)!
I loved it when he told me I looked great in my jeans.
My favorite gift is always flowers.
I love when my husband sing “You are my Sunshine” to me
A pillow. I briefly mentioned it a few months before my birthday. I was so surprised he remembered. I even forgot that I needed a new one.
Amazon works well
HONEY, HERE’S THE DEBIT CARD!
I love it when my husband remembers to use the coupons!
The best thing he could say is that he loves me no matter what.
The best thing my husband could say to me is that I am his best friend, because I think HE is my best friend. The best gift he has ever given me is a trip to see my kids. That meant the world to me.
My hubby melted my heart when he had flowers delivered on our first anniversary. He specifically chose our wedding colors for those flowers too.
Hubby, not me, remembers the day he proposed. I usually get a sweet card for the day too. It’s been 17 years now and he’s remembered every one. I, on the other hand, know it’s some time in April, but I’ve missed everydate.
Is it cheesey to say that the best gift hubby gave me was my children???? Somedays that’s not necessarily true however.
Best gift from my hubby was VIP passes to meet Chris Daughtry. I always tell my husband that Daughtry is my next husband. Now that’s love when he buys passes for me to meet him. Or was he hoping for something else—hmmm??

I’m hard of hearing but don’t yet have hearing aids. I told my husband I am worried it will continue to deteriorate as I get older and won’t be able to communicate with him. He said “then I will learn sign language for you”.
When I was in Officer Training School for the Air Force and very stressed out I would complain to my husband when I was permitted to call him. He sent me a small box in the mail and told me to put all of my worries inside and then mail it back to him. He then said he’d bury it for me and I’d not longer have to worry about anything.
My husband, while trying to convince me to date him (I was still getting over a guy who’d recently dumped me), wrote out the lyrics to the song “To Make You Feel My Love” by Garth Brooks.
My husband gave me a printed version of our wedding song for our anniversary. I love this gift because he thought of it on his own and then had to get the lyrics, have them printed and framed. This was such a unique gift that I will always cherish.
What is the best gift your husband or wife has given you (engagement rings excluded) and why?
The tiny Diamond hoop earings, because they were a thank you for having his son!
What is the best thing your husband or wife could say to you and why?
That I am sexy and he wants me LOL Why because he hasnt said anything like that in years and a woman needs to hear it!
When I used to work Fridays while my husband had Fridays off, I’d come home from work to hear my husband say, “I’ve fed the kids and washed the dishes. Your dinner is keeping warm in the oven. Enjoy it while I take the laundry out of the dryer and fold it.”
My husband, then boyfriend, bought me a necklace. IT was a total surprise. He had my friend help him out. It remains, and I don’t doubt always will remain, the best present anyone has ever bought me. It was a wonderful surprise. I love that he enlisted help and it’s just.. so completely my style.
A simple “I love you”.
Betsey Johnson earrings is the best gift I’ve gotten. Love that brand!
“I can’t wait to grow old with you.”
Once my husband slipped back into a shop and purchased a necklace I had admired and surprised me with it later.
The best thing my husband has ever said to me with words is “you’re beautiful” but when he also says it with his eyes it’s infinitely better. I remember meeting his extended family for the first time at a family wedding and I’d never seen him walk me around the room so proudly as he did that day. I kept catching him locked in a loving gaze with me; it was so moving. I almost felt like I was stealing the brides thunder that day.
The best present my husband ever gave me was a simple day with him. That day resulted in so many wonderful surprises. He’s a man of few words and even less emotions. But one beautiful autumn day he took me on a romantic day trip to colonial Williamsburg, VA. There he bought an expensive bottle of wine and assortment of cheeses which we took home to enjoy in front of the fireplace that night. He also gave me one last gift that night but he came along 9 months later.
He could tell me I am a good mom!
The best present I ever got was Mt. Dew and Reeses PB Cups because it showed he really paid attention and honestly I didn’t need anything anyways (I’m simple!).
The best thing would be for him to say that I am a great mom. The best gift is a spa certificate for a little relaxation.
The best thing my husband could say: I appreciate you.
The best thing he’s given me: My Nikon D3000 (and my two dogs!).
The best thing my husband could say is that he loves me.
