I love when my husband shows up at my work with just a single rose for me.
the best thing my fiance’ has told me is that I will be a wonderful mother to his son (age 9, whose own biological mom passed away when he was less than 2 years old) and to our future children if we have any… =)
I think the best present a husband can give is one that shows he put some thought and effort into it.
The best thing my husband has given me is himself. He is the type of husband that everything he does is for his family. He works hard all the time to make our lives better. Not for the gratitude or praise (he prefers none) he receives, but to see us happy. And asks for nothing in return. I couldnt ask for a better hubby.
my husband gave me a gift certificate to my favorite salon + day spa for my last birthday. It’s good for not just a haircut, but an hour massage as well. He knows how to take care of his girl.
Lately the best things that my husband says to me have to do with my “day job”. I’m a stay at home mom. When he compliments me on my parenting, notices my hard work around the house, or raves over food I’ve prepared in a specific way I feel really appreciated.
One of the best gifts also happens to be something my husband has said to me – “sit down and relax, I’ll take the boy (our 13 month old son) to play in the other room” after I’ve had a particularly trying day and he can tell I need a break.
The best thing a husband can say to you is that you look beautiful first thing in the morning!
The best thing my husband could say is that he loves me!
10. The best gift I ever got was a box of dark chocolate truffles from Godiva because they are my favorite indulgence
The best thing a wife can say to her husband is you are well done last night
The best thing he could say to me would be to compliment my cooking…I work really hard to make different meals every night. He always does the dishes though, thankfully.
13. Also…he could tell me he wants to see the world with me…and then promptly offer up a suggestion for a trip. Nothing’s hotter than a man who likes to travel.
The best gift I have ever gotten from him is chocolate…I’m easy to please.
The best gift was when he got us a weekend getaway. It wasn’t far from home, but the time together was amazing. We got to just escape and enjoy each other for a whole weekend. No stress! I loved it!
The best gift my husband gave me was a traditional Native American woman’s breastplate that he made. The breastplate I made as a teenager was falling apart and I needed it to complete my powwow dance outfit/regalia. My husband managed to make this breastplate without me knowing about it and he used the beads he had been buying and saving up over the years to make his own breastplate. It was the most amazingly personal gift of love and sacrifice.
The other great gift my husband gave me was a rocking chair. We were expecting a baby and I had told him that I wished I had a rocking chair. He talked his mom into giving up her rocking chair and he hid it at a friend’s house until Christmas day. Ironically, my gift for him that year was a La-Z-Boy chair that I picked up second hand and stored at that same friend’s house (she had a tough time with our secrets). It was the cheapest Christmas we’ve had, but absolutely the most meaningful for both of us. What meant the most was knowing that your spouse listened to you and knew you well enough to give a truly personal gift. We still have the rocking chair and we used the recliner until it completely fell apart.
The best thing a wife can say is “I want you”
My husband is the best! He never passes the blame for something, even if it is my fault. (..and that is when I usually say…I’m sorry it really is my fault!)
My hubby gives good gifts but sometimes he gives me things that he wants…like an MP3 player or some type of electronic device. Having said that, he has also given me many great gifts, including some beautiful jewelry.
I love when my husband cooks! He is a fabulous cook too!

The best gift my husband has given me is a silver bracelet I had admired in a store and didn’t think we should spend the money on it. I was so surprised and happy.

A handwritten Hallmark anniversary card. He is just never a card person, but I love getting cards.

The best gift my husband ever gave me was a wrapped shirt box with baby items in it (bib, rattle, pacificer, Twix candy bar–my favorite candy bar–and a note that said, “for your cravings” AND a note that said, “Will you have my baby?” About a year later, we had our beautiful little Sisi (our 3rd child).
