From @themarriagebed: “I’m thinking of U.” (I know the subtext!)
From @damniteric: “I killed 4 batteries thinking of you, now come give me the real thing.”
From @allison_boyer: ”I did the dishes. See you when you get home.” Why? “I HATE doing dishes, so that was the best text ever. Much better than sexting”
From @KiriBlakeley (who incidentally has a book outlining these and other fun ones): “Will Madame be sampling the Great Northern nine incher this evening?”

What I love about these is it shows what people consider sexy, and it includes direct allusions to sex but it also includes things that I would never have thought of as sexy, but which certainly speak to our 5 Love Languages.

This is from a man I was seeing up until a few weeks ago. He sent this after we’d shared a few glasses of wine after work, but he had to head home.
”I’ve wanted you for years.. I fancied you from the very first moment I saw you in the restaurant. Please will you come out with me? I promise you, it will be amazing! ”
This text is from a guy I used to work with – he sends me regular random texts, but always cancels any dates I’ve ever arranged with him. As such, it’s never blossomed into any relationship, and since he’s so unreliable, I will not go out with him. (He’s had his last chance!)
I also have some very steamy texts but they are probably not suitable for this website, lol!! It’s amazing how men will be so explicit via a text, but often afraid to say the same face to face!

Interesting point, about how we are able to communicate different things using different tools. We can say something via text that we cannot say out loud… thanks for sharing.
